Our Vision
“Every professional dancer was once an amateur”
Established in 2004, FFD teaches the foundations of dance to a high technical standard while nurturing students creativity, exploration and expression. We aim to equip our students with confidence, discipline and skills that encourage personal growth, while educating them in professional dance.
We believe dance should enrich the lives of our students, and bring pleasure, fun and joy to them. We teach without formal exams, constantly assessing the progression and development of each student, tailoring our teaching to let them flourish.
We believe education is a journey, which, while different for each student, should share the same core values that we build into all of our classes; Empowerment, passion and creativity.
These values aren’t just taught, we lead by example; our classes are structured in an approachable, friendly and encouraging way to inspire, focus and motivate students to be all that they can be - to reach a goal and feel proud.
At FFD we are driven by a life long love of music and dance that we help foster in our students, the next generation of dancers. We are a school and community, building friendships and making memories. We are accessible to all and want our students to have a sense of pride in their school and local community.
As a studio we want to open our doors to groups and events that share our passion for enriching people lives, and to fill our space in the community, for the community.
FFD has established itself as a leading dance school in the North West through our innovative teaching style, student first approach and strong dance technique.
We aim to carry this forward, growing ever stronger as the future of dance.
